Payment
Payments for the conference are accepted in EUR via the following methods:
1. Bank transfer (EUR only)
Payments by bank transfer are accepted in EUR only (net of all bank charges) to:

Note: It is mandatory to include the delegate(s) full name(s) as the bank transfer reference.
A confirmation of the payment received and invoice will be sent by email.
2. Online payment (credit/debit card)
Online payment is available through the IEES-BAN e-store and can be made using credit or debit cards.
EU-based companies (excluding Bulgaria) with a valid VAT number are exempt from VAT.
Payments are processed through a virtual Point of Sale (POS) terminal using debit or credit cards bearing the trademarks of VISA International, Mastercard Worldwide, BORICA AD, and others, except cards issued in the following countries: USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Belize, Bahrain, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Kuwait, India, and Nigeria.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation requests must be made in writing and emailed to SED’2024 Conference Secretariat at sed@iees.bas.bg. The notification must include all relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted.
- Registrations cancelled in writing before August 08, 2026 will be refunded less EUR 40.
- No refunds can be made for cancellations requested after August 08, 2026
The date of receipt of the email requesting cancellation will be the basis for considering refunds. Refunds will be made by bank transfer after the conference.
In case of over-payment or double payment, refund requests must be made in writing and emailed to sed@iees.bas.bg. The over-paid amount less a handling fee of EUR 40/ BGN 40 will be refunded after the conference.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Registered delegate’s substitutions may be made at any time prior to the conference start date at no cost, provided the substitute works for the same organization/company as the original registrant and belongs to the same registration category (or additional fees may apply). Name changes will be accepted by email indicating the names of the registered delegate and of the substitute, including the new registrant’s e-mail address and other relevant contact details. A declaration of acceptance of our GDPR and General Policy signed by the substitute attendee must be attached to the email.
